ARAK PRESS is an independent publishing imprint dedicated to art, music, and thought. We listen closely to the scattered voices often overlooked at the margins. The name PARAK is written with the Chinese characters 波 (wave) and 樂 (joy). "Wave" evokes a movement that never stands still—fluid, adaptable, and capable of sending gentle ripples across quiet waters. "Joy" speaks to the essential pleasure found in learning, creating, and reading. Together, they express our belief in books as a way of creating meaningful waves that ripple outward into the world.
